Niceville, Florida

Thanks to Joe Palmer and the good people at the Niceville church of Christ. I was invited to speak there tonight on the subject of Surrendering to God. The story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5 was the text. As before I was treated very well. As an “extra” we witnessed the new birth of a Christian tonight when a young man put on his Lord in baptism. May God bless his life and give him all grace possible to grow. He studied with others during the class and was baptised shortly after services ended.

Brian Gentle of the Jackson church of Christ in Jackson, Alabama spoke in my absence at Eastern Shore tonight. Brian is fine gospel preacher who also happens to be one of our directors at Indian Creek Youth Camp near Jasper, Alabama. Although I did not hear him I have already heard that he did an outstanding job.
