Baptist Backs Out of Debate
One of the diabolical underpinnings of Calvinistic teaching is that concerning the nature of man. Specifically is man utterly depraved having inherited sins of his ancestors. Although the Bible says no, those who hold to the doctrine of Total Depravity continue to assert its truth.
Noted Christian preacher and scholar, Mac Deaver was making plans to debate the issue with Matthew Black, a noted baptist preacher who holds to the total depravity doctrine. Now at the last minute, Mr. Black as withdrawn from the debate. A full report is found here in Brotherhood News. Much money and effort had already gone into the debate preparations.
Perhaps another will attempt to debate Deaver. We think it would be useful to spread the truth of the depravity debacle to all.
